Little star in the garden
One night, when everything around was quiet and dark, little bear Misha was sitting by the window. He was looking at the sky full of stars. Suddenly one of them fell! It fell quietly and gently, like a feather. Míša immediately put on his slippers and went outside.
In the garden, under the apple tree, there it was – a tiny, shining star. It was warm and twinkled like magic. “Are you all right?” Misha asked. The little star buzzed a little and winked. “I fell out of the sky. I need to get back,” she hissed. Misha smiled. “Let me help you!”
Friends are helping
Misha sat down next to the starfish and thought. “I can’t fly,” he winked sadly. “But I know someone who can!” He ran to the oak tree where Ola the owl was sleeping. “Ola! We need help!”
The owl widened its eyes, yawned, and swooped down. “Did the starfish fall? This is serious!” she said sagely. She flew over to the starfish, inspected it, and blew lightly on its tip. “Hmm… you’re not fully lit yet. You need more light to fly home,” she explained. Misha and Ola mused. Who could bring light?
Light for a little star
“We’re going to see Quika the frog!” Misha suggested. “He has a pond full of fireflies!” And so they went – the teddy bear, the owl and the little starfish curled up in Misha’s paws. By the pond, Kviky the frog was hopping, singing and catching dewdrops. “Hello Kviky! We need some light,” said Misha.
Kviky winked. “Sure! My fireflies are happy to help.” And she immediately called: “Lumen, Blik, come here!” Three little fireflies flew in and started dancing around the star. With each buzz, the star became brighter and brighter. Until finally – it shone like a lamp in the dark! “I feel stronger!” she chirped happily.
Return to Heaven
Little Star was bright and shiny again. Everyone surrounded it and said goodbye. “Thank you for helping me,” she chimed like a bell. “Thanks to you, I can go home again.” Ola the owl flapped her wing, Quikki sent a bubble, and Misha stroked her toe.
Slowly, she soared high – higher and higher until she disappeared among the other stars. Misha smiled and whispered, “Good night, little star.” Then he went home, wrapped himself in his blanket and fell asleep. And in the sky… one star shone a little brighter than the others. It was theirs.
Now go on, get some sparkle in your dreams.
